Sunrise Montessori School warmly welcomes you and your families to our website. We serve children ages 18 months through 6th grade. Here at Sunrise Montessori, education is not just a passage of knowledge, nor rote memory. We believe in developing your child's thinking skills, teaching your child how to learn, develop your child's interests in the world which we live through practical learning experiences. We teach our children to be compassionate, responsible, respectful, and self-motivated. We look forward to continued growth during the next few years. We welcome a visit from you!
The Board of Directors
Sunrise Montessori is a non-profit school governed by a Board of Directors. The primary functions of the Board are:
(1) to carry out the Montessori mission and fundamental philosophy of the school,
(2) to establish general policies under which the school will operate,
(3) to oversee written objectives gets carried out through day-to-day practical operations,
(4) to ensure operations of the school falls under approved provincial regulations and board polices,
(5) to look to the future and plan for long-term institutional growth and development.
